Love INC means, “Love in the Name of Christ.”
 
We work with over 450 Christian churches in our service area of Fresno/Clovis/Fowler/Easton to help show God’s love to people in need in practical and effective ways. We believe that the resources to meet any need can be found in the Body of Christ and, by working together, we can make a real difference.
 
Love INC began in 1976 in Holland Michigan and has grown to over 120 active ministries nationwide. Love INC in Fresno began operation in January of 1986 and, in Fresno, is a ministry of Evangelicals for Social Action (ESA). We welcome participation by any church that adheres to the Apostolic Creed and wishes to minister to people in the name of Christ.

Love INC serves as a link between people in need and caring Christian churches. It helps reduce unnecessary duplication of services and it works to generate previously untapped volunteer and material resources within churches. It also enables caring Christians to come alongside those who are chronically dependant or have multiple needs in order to teach them practical living skills and help them “walk out of poverty.” We work to move the helping experience from just crisis relief to development and empowerment of the individual or family in need.

Love INC serves the Church by:

• Helping congregations organize for ministry to serve people in need.
• Giving congregations specific, manageable opportunities to serve.
• Mobilizing church resources to transform the lives of people in need.
• Identifying community agency resources to supplement church efforts.

• There are unlimited resources in the Body of Christ that Love INC can mobilize on behalf of those in need.
• Love INC gives Christians a specific, manageable opportunity to put their faith and love to work in the service of people in need.
• Because Scripture tells us love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).
