Men
With A Mission
Our Vision
Our vision is to assist the local church in building men of God
through healthy, church-based men's ministries.
“.. you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” (Isaiah 58:12b)
The model of Jesus Christ’s life inspired Men With A Mission
(MWAM). Jesus lived as a man with a mission, and He expressed His
mission in His keynote address in Luke 4:18-19:
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has
anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to
proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the
blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's
favor."
We believe Jesus is calling men to obey Him, follow His word, and
be men of God—men committed to Christ’s Great Commission.
Men on a mission!
"God is at work in the world, and he wants you
to join him. This assignment is called your mission. God
wants you to have both a ministry in the Body of Christ and a mission
in the world. Your ministry is your service to believers,
and your mission is your service to unbelievers." Fulfilling
your mission in the world is one of God’s purposes for your
life.
- A quote from The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.
MWAM can become part of an existing men's group in your church or
be a catalyst to help begin a men’s ministry in your church.
Our Mission
- MWAM will come alongside your men’s ministry and build
a church-based men’s network.
- MWAM will help provide a vision for men to focus on growing
in Christ together.
- MWAM will connect your men’s ministry with people in
need resulting in lives changed…sometimes ours more than
theirs.
- MWAM will train and equip your men’s ministry to be a
team working on local missions projects.
